The Rotary Club of Terrace-Skeena Valley is hosting a massive book sale from April 25 to April 27 to raise funds for its Operation Starfish program, which provides food assistance to students in need over the weekend. The sale, located at the former City Furniture building on Lakelse Ave, will run by donation.
Operation Starfish aims to send enough food home with students each Friday to support them and their families over the weekend, addressing the gap in food assistance between school days. The program has expanded across the province, providing vital support to students outside regular school hours.
Sale hours are April 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., April 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and April 27 from noon to 4 p.m. This is the second year the club has held the sale in support of this important initiative.
