Police have identified the model of a vehicle which hit a pregnant pedestrian in Prince George last week, before fleeing the scene.
That collision occured on Highway 97, near the intersection with Noranda Road just before 7:00 in the evening last Friday.
While the 37 year-old woman remains in hospital in serious condition as a result, her unborn child was unable to survive the impact.
Analysis of video surveillance and debris left at the scene has revealed the suspect’s vehicle to be a dark coloured Dodge Ram 1500.
A headlight assembly collected from the scene is from a 2015 to 2022 model, though it is compatible with any model year post-2009.
In addition to the missing headlight, RCMP say the truck would also have significant damage to the front passenger side.
If you have any information which may help locate the vehicle, contact Prince George RCMP at 250 561 3300.
