A proposed copper-gold exploration project in the North will be under new leadership as it moves towards fruition.
Located near Fort St James, in the Quesnel Terrane, the Kwanika-Stardust project combines two adjacent deposits into one large-scale endeavour.
Owned by NorthWest Copper, the project is currently in the Preliminary Economic Assessment, or scoping study, phase.
That assessment is intended to provide an analysis of the economic viability of the project’s resources, ahead of a feasibility study.
But, the company will be rounding out the study under new leadership, after appointing Tyler Caswell as the new VP of Exploration.
Caswell says he expects to have the results of the completed PEA sometime next month.
