An important public announcement is set to be made on Thursday regarding the search for a Bella Coola man reported missing last month.
30 year-old Carl Schooner Jr was reported missing on December 6th, but was last seen in Bella Coola on November 30th, prior to departing for Williams Lake.
He was reported missing by family on December 6th, but multiple search efforts since have turned up empty.
Now, family members, alongside members of the Nuxalk Nation, are set to hold a press conference regarding the case on Thursday.
Scheduled for the Williams Lake City Hall at 11:00 in the morning, the conference will also be attended by the Williams Lake First Nation and RCMP.
Schooner is described as a 6 foot tall Indigenous man, weighing 161 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
