Members of RCMP units in both the Peace Region and Alberta teamed up to apprehend two wanted individuals last week.
On January 11th, officers in Grande Prairie located a Dodge Nitro which had been stolen from Fort St John the day before.
After being stolen, the SUV had been used in a series of break and enters at businesses in Dawson Creek.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Corbyn Hubley and a subsequent search of his hotel room, where officers found many of the stolen items.
A day later, Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of One Island Lake.
There, officers located Daniel Davidson, who had been wanted on multiple warrants in both BC and Alberta.
When they tried to arrest him, Davidson fled into a wooded area, but was eventually tracked down with the assistance of multiple Alberta-based units.
Both Hubley and Davidson were held in custody to await charges.
