Rotary Club of Terrace Helps Local Swim Club Recovery from Years of Challenges with Fresh Investment

A donation from the Rotary Club of Terrace will help a local swim club recover from a list of challenges from the last few years.

In 2019, the Terrace Bluebacks Swim Club was left temporarily without a home as the Aquatic Centre closed down for renovations.

But that temporary shutdown ended up lasting a bit longer than expected when the pandemic hit the following year.

Then, in 2021, the club was hit with more challenges after losing their head coach halfway through the season.

Now, the Rotary Club is providing an $8,000 donation to help them rebuild capacity and recover from those challenges.
