This Wednesday marks 10 years since Tl’azt’en First Nation woman Immaculate Basil went missing.
27 years old at the time, Basil, a mother of one, was last seen in the Kuzche reserve area on June 14, 2013.
Following the initial report, Fort St James RCMP and Search and Rescue conducted a four day search to no avail.
Then, in 2016, Basil’s brother Paul renewed search efforts with the help of chief and council to offer a $20,000 reward for information on the case.
Though, it’s now coming up on 10 years since the initial report and no progress has been made in Basil’s case.
Basil is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes
