One of the largest cruise ships ever to call on the Port of Prince Rupert is back in the water, following a collision with a west coast dock.
Last Thursday, the 3,080 passenger Ruby Princess made unexpected contact with a dock in San Francisco, resulting in a sizeable gash.
But, the largest cruise ship ever to visit Prince Rupert will not have its next stop delayed, with repairs wrapping up this morning.
It will, however, be short nearly 600 passengers when it next visits the City on Thursday, after a number opted for refunds instead.
That comes after the company was forced to reduce the vessel’s next Alaskan round trip to a 7-day cruise, as opposed to the usual 10.
