As the exterior of the new Mills Memorial Hospital begins to take shape, Terrace residents are getting an early look at how it will look on the inside.
Posters displaying the current design and landscaping plans for the $633 million facility are now on display in the Skeena Mall.
They show off the proposed floorplans for the emergency department, spiritual space, cancer clinic, patient rooms, birthing units, and the new Seven Sisters facility.
Details on how each of the 41 new patient rooms will look are also provided, featuring both standard and larger, barrier-free, rooms.
In total, the new state-of-the-art facility will add 16 new surgical beds, 10 psychiatric beds, 10 emergency treatment spaces, and much more.
Completion of the new facility, which will bring 34 new beds in total, is planned for Spring of 2025.
You can check out the posters at the mall yourself until September 29th, or online through this link.
