Government and industry leaders from across the Northwest will gather in Terrace today for discussions on how to do business with First Nations.
It’s the 7th annual edition of the Nation 2 Nation Forum, which aims to provide First Nations leaders with an opportunity to be heard.
Through the three day event, they will outline how industry and government can help address economic, environmental, social, and rights issues faced by their Indigenous partners.
It also offers a chance to discuss resource development partnerships, and how to improve outcomes for communities and future generations.
Day one gets going at the Thornhill Community Centre at 3:00 this afternoon, with a full schedule and ticket info available at this link.
