Tracy Ridler works as a management consultant for ‘Elevate Consulting’ and co-founded ‘Build Native’ to assist Indigenous entrepreneurs in building their business. With a focus on Indigenous engagement and a drive for economic reconciliation, it’s no surprise she was invited to the United Nation’s Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) forum on Transforming Mentalities in Paris. She was joined by her 10 year old daughter Roux, who was both the youngest speaker and attendee in the event’s history. There, they spoke on how to meaningfully work with Indigenous nations to ensure a sustainable future and self-determination. As a member of the Ts’ymsyen Nation, she also spoke with Morgyn (her niece), about how their culture played into her presentation and informs her work. It’s not nearly the end though, as Tracy has an ever growing resumé of work to reverse the colonial system.
