On May 23, the Interchange Recycling announced its fifth annual top collection award winners in BC and Terrace and neighboring Prince Rupert both secured a spot in the top 30 in the province.
Both cities are top collectors of used oil and antifreeze materials in BC for 2023
CFNR spoke with David Lawes, CEO of Interchange Recycling located in Victoria, about Terrace’s recognition for recycling initiatives, future plans for enhancing recycling infrastructure and the vision for Terrace and Rupert’s role in promoting environmental sustainability in British Columbia
Lawes told CFNR that “it’s really to the citizens of Terrace for their great role in taking back material and recycling it because it’s a choice at the resident level and we’ll do everything we can to help facilitate that.”
