Kitimat Residents there has been a notice that winter parking restrictions are set to be in effect starting November 1st 2024 till March 31st 2025. For Boats, trailers and vehicles can’t be parked too close to the road and need to be relocated so snow clearing equipment can do their job without any obstacles.
They must be at a minimum 4 meters away from the property lune and not from the curb. The maximum of vehicles that can be stored over winter on a residential lot are two boats or trailers, along with one RV. Any violations will see a fine up to one hundred dollars.
