The search for a 21 year old Aiden Waddle missing since November 10th is entering it’s third day in the Kitwanga area, Waddle who went kayaking alone on Kitwancool Lake was reported missing after his truck and kayak were found but there was no sign of him.
Waddle is described as a 5’8 185-pounds Caucasian male with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Search efforts have begun with involvement of Terrace Seach and Rescue, drone operators from Burns Lake, and additional support from Canadian Rangers and a drone company from Nanaimo. Volunteers are also helping and the family had thanked the public for their support.
Authorities are advising those wishing to help in the search to check in with the RCMP or search teams for coordination. Donations of firewood, food and other supplies are also being accepted.
