The City of Terrace is seeking proposals for consulting services to assess various buildings.
The work involves onsite inspections, evaluating building conditions, and creating a 10-year capital plan for repairs and replacements.
Proposals must include pricing for mandatory inspections of the Arena, Aquatic Centre, Library, and RCMP Building, and much more along with a separate price for optional inspections.
Based on costs, the City may exclude some or all optional buildings.
The deadline to submit proposals is February 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., with the contract to be awarded on March 3, 2025.

The mandatory buildings to be inspected include:
- Arena Main/Hidber on 3320 Kalum Street
- Aquatic Centre on 3320 Kalum Street
- Library on 4610 Park Avenue
- RCMP Building on 3205 Eby Street
- Municipal Building on 3215 Eby Street
- Public Works/Animal Shelter on 5003 Graham Avenue
- George Little House on 3100 Kalum Street
- Kwinitsa House on 4805 Highway 16 West
- Visitor Information Center on 4511 Keith Avenue
- Frank St. Well House on Frank Street
- Wilson Water Pump House on Wilson Avenue
- Park Ave. Water Pump House on Park Avenue
The optional buildings that can be inspected include:
- Little Island Water Pump House on the south end of Kalum Street
- Waste Water Treatment Plant (Headworks Building) on 5123 Graham Avenue
- Waste Water Treatment Plant (Blower Building) on 5123 Graham Avenue
- Waste Water Treatment Plant (Storage Building) on 5123 Graham Avenue
- Christy Park Washrooms at Christy Park
- Ferry Island Washrooms and Showerhouse on Ferry Island’s Recreation Road
- Bowling Alley on 4807 & 4811 Lazelle Avenue 6,600 1956
- George Little Park Washrooms and Change Rooms on 4610 Park Avenue
- City House on 4542 Park Avenue
