Claimants in the Federal Indian Day School Settlement who submitted their forms by the final deadline of January 13, 2023, and have not received a response are being urged to contact the Administrator immediately. Claims missing information must be updated by June 27, 2025, or risk being denied or reduced in compensation.
As of late March, more than 15,700 claims remain unprocessed due to missing details, including school names, years of attendance, estate representative documents, or valid ID.
Claimants should review all correspondence or call the Administrator at 1-888-221-2898 or email IndianDaySchools@Deloitte.ca to check their claim status.
