The Canadian Cancer Society is asking Terrace residents to sign up to volunteer for the 2018 Relay for Life.
The society is asking for help specifically in being apart of the organizing committee for the annual event.

Owen adds Terrace has always had a wonderful and committed history with the relay for life, she says this year the communities involvement is crucial to ensure Terrace can once again play host to this important event. ‘
The time commitment for volunteers isn’t what it once was, Owen adds closer to the event is when time commitment becomes more vaulable.
Volunteers for the event will be needed as well, but for now the organzing commitee is priority.
Owens says there is a common thread people who attend the Relay for Life share. She says there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the sea of yellow shirts.
Last year, Terrace alone raised $55 000. The event is scheduled to take place May 26th .
