The Canadian Cancer society is challenging skiers and snowboaders from Prince George and surrounding communities alike to ski the height of Mount Everest.
The annual ‘Slopes for Hopes’ fundraiser will be held Saturday, arch 10th,2018 at Powder King Resort located in the Pine Pass.
In the last 4 years, Slopes for Hopes has raised almost $60 000 and had more than 200 participants excited for the challenge of Skiing the complete Everest height —–which is approximately 29 000 feet or 13 ski runs at the resort.
All funds raised help the Canadian Cancer Society fund , cancer research, cancer prevention initiatives and support programs for people living with cancer.
