Charges have been laid in connection with a New Years Day assault in Williams Lake that left a man with stab wounds.
RCMP say 26 year-old Blake Johnny is charged with aggravated assault and robbery and 31-year-old Eliasha Norlander is charged with robbery.
Johnny remains in custody pending his next court appearance while Norlander has been released on court conditions.
The arrests and charges stem from an attack on a man at a local convenience store on the morning of New Years Day.
The victim was approached by two men who demanded the keys to his vehicle. He was stabbed during a struggle with one of the suspects, but was able to escape to the store.
Both Johnny and Norlander are expected back in court January 24th.
