Heavy snow has made highway conditions treacherous across a wide swath of Northern BC.
The Ministry of Transportation has issued multiple travel advisories for Highway 97 from Prince George south past Williams Lake and for sections of Highway 16 from east of Terrace area to east of Prince George.
Officials say heavy snow and blowing snow are causing limited visibility.
Travel is not recommended unless absolutely necessary.
