Northern Health says the hospital in Vanderhoof is still open despite a weekend flooding incident.
Water damaged St. John Hospital’s maternity department and operating rooms, among others, but the emergency department, inpatient areas, oncology, lab and medical imaging departments are fully operational.
The health authority is asking people to pay close attention to directional signs because access to some areas of the facility may have changed.
Northern Health says its working with doctors to let patients know about any procedures or appointments that need to be rescheduled.
