Highway 16 has reopened between Terrace and Prince Rupert.
The Ministry of Transportation shut down the road for approximately 8 hours Tuesday due to the avalanche risk.
The route has been closed multiple times this year due to heavy snow and avalanche risk.
More avalanche control is expected between Kasiks River and Telegraph Point Wednesday between 9:30 and 4:00.
Drivers can expect delays of between 30 and 40 minutes.
