Prince Rupert RCMP are renewing their calls for witnesses as police continue to search for a missing Terrace man.
45 year-old David Kim was last seen leaving the Shames Mountain Parking lot Saturday around 3 p.m. and his car was discovered Sunday along Highway 16 at the Khyex River pullout, approximaltey 50 kilometres east of Prince Rupert.
Staff Sergeant Dave Uppal says police have a witness that saw Kim’s blue Toyota Yaris leave the Khyex pullout and travel toward Prince Rupert Saturday at about 3:50 p.m.
Uppal says RCMP are hoping that more witnesses can help police shorten up the timeline of when Kim’s car was seen leaving the pullout and when it was seen parked.
The file is still being investigated as a missing persons case and RCMP are hoping for the best.
