Prince Rupert RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a 59 year-old man died on a city street.
Police say the 59 year-old man was found on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Fulton Street, unconscious and not breathing at 7:00 Friday night.
An RCMP officer working on another file up the street began CPR and called in paramedics and fire crews.
Despite attempts to resuscitate the man, he was pronounced dead.
Prince Rupert RCMP say they don’t know the cause of death, but continue to investigate the incident along with the coroner.
