Terrace RCMP have arrested a man on theft charges following a disturbance call on Sunday.
The initial call to police was made late Sunday night after a man was causing a drunken ruckus outside a Hall Street home.
Later, the suspect headed across the road and stole a box of tools before police arrived, retrieved the tools and arrested the suspect.
The man was arrested and held until he sobered up before being released on a promise to appear in court.
