Multiple RCMP divisions banded together to bring in two dangerous criminals in Terrace this weekend.
A chase ensued after an off duty officer observed the two high-risk individuals heading towards Terrace in a truck.
After a marked police vehicle attempted to pull over the truck, it continued to flee at high speeds before a spike strip was deployed and the truck eventually crashed in to another police vehicle.
The Terrace Police Dog Service Team was able to bring down one of the offenders after an attempt to flee on foot near Highway 16 and Kirkaldy Street.
44 year old Lane Peepchuck, and 48 year old Mark Barg were arrested on several charges and pre-existing warrants following the incident.
Drugs and cash were also seized on site.
