Terrace representatives, including Mayor Carol LeClerc, have now returned from a productive trip to China.
The week long visit featured meetings and activities focused on promoting the Skeena Industrial Development Park’s QETDZ project.
The project is being undertaken by Taisheng International Investments, who aim prepare the area for a manufacturing oriented zone which will bring jobs and economic advantages to Terrace.
Updates given during the week’s meetings show that road construction and well development have begun on the project.
Jack Talstra Way has also been awarded a shallow utility contract for the site.
Representatives from the Kitselas First Nation and Allnorth Consultants Limited were also present for the meetings.
