Possible financial misconduct has led to the firing of a Lax Kw’alaams school principal.
Coast Tsimshian Academy Principle Kelly Rambeau has been been terminated in order to protect school assets as they continue an investigation in to financial irregularities.
The school’s board was notified of the irregularities following a recent audit.
Following Rambeau’s dismissal, the school announced the appointment of Skye Mitchell as interim principal.
Rambeau was originally made the school’s principal back in 2014.
