A tentative agreement has been reached with nearly 42 thousand health service workers under the government’s Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate.
This most recent agreement is between the Facilities Bargaining Association and the Health Employers Association of BC, which covers care aides, cleaners, lab assistants, nursing-unit assitants, and food service workers.
The agreement must still be ratified between the Unions and their employers.
More than 196 thousand workers have now reached tentative or ratified agreements under the Provincial Mandate.
