12 new community transportation services are now up and running in the north, inluding a twice weekly service between Terrace and Prince Rupert.
As part of the province’s Highway 16 Transportation Action plan, and thanks to the help of numerous community and First Nations partners, the services will provide more than 25 hundred rides per month.
Services stretch all across the north, from Prince Rupert to Prince George, supplying safe, reliable travel in the form of community vehicles.
Thanks to the Friendship House Association of Prince Rupert, trips between Terrace and Prince Rupert will be provided each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5 dollars per seat.
