After dominating headlines in 2018, BC is insuring youth are properly educated on the fishing industry heading in to 2019.
Young fishers across BC are invited to come together in the province’s capital next week for the 2019 Young Fishermen’s Gathering.
Industry vets will be on hand to support the next generation, offering a series of panels on training opportunities, marketing, and fishing management and policy.
This year’s gathering will take place in Victoria from January 23rd-24th.
