One Prince Rupert resident has been banned from city hall after issuing threats to put two staff members “into the ground”.
Adrian Devison has been requesting city hall fix a crumbling retaining wall outside his mother’s home since a car crash wrecked it two and a half years ago.
According to the City, Devison’s complaint was logged in fall of 2017, and subsequent reviews of the area found the area and structure to be safe.
In 2018, the city recognized the need to replace the wall, but the cost of doing so ended up forcing it out of the 2018 construction budget.
Devison is also complaining about the condition of a collapsed house nearby, which the city claims to be looking in to.
In their letter to Devison, the City called his threats to put two staffers “in to the ground” inappropriate and intolerable.
Devison now faces a 6 month ban from accessing the hall.
