Skeena Sawmills has agreed to a long-term shipping deal with Pacific BioEnergy.
With their new pellet plant, managed by subsidiary Skeena BioEnergy, set to begin production in March, an overseas supplier was needed.
Pacific BioEnergy is a Prince George based international supplier who would coordinate all of Skeena’s dealings with Japanese-based power companies.
Under the agreement, Pacific would have access to all product created by the plant.
Skeena BioEnergy is also looking to expand in to other markets, such as Europe and China.
