A blue ribbon panel review has returned 16 recommendations for how to improve BC’s forest inventory program.
BC Forest Minister Doug Donaldson set up the panel last year with the goal of determining if the program was meeting user’s needs, and if not, how to meet them.
With the review running between April and September of last year, and a final report being submitted in December, that report was released today.
The 16 recommendations cover funding, data collection, program linkages, and communication improvements.
