Charge North is looking to make northern BC air a little cleaner with their electric vehicle charging network.
A representative from the group will be presenting to Terrace Council on Monday, and confirming their inclusion in the project.
37 municipalities across 6 regions have joined in on the plan to install charging stations across 27 hundred kilometres of northern highways.
As the group looks to move forward with funding their Level 2 Network, Monday’s presentation will include a pitch to council.
If Charge North secures their grant funding from CleanBC, local governments would only need to pay between 25 hundred and 5 thousand dollars per charging station.
Terrace City Council will have until February 25th to confirm their inclusion.
