20 thousand dollars in funding is being made available to improve the look of Prince Rupert businesses.
Applications are now being accepted by the City’s Economic Development Office for the 2019 intake of their Business Facade improvement program.
Local businesses will be able to apply for as much as 50 percent reimbursement of up to 5 thousand dollars per project to improve facades of existing buildings.
Only projects with a cost between 4 and 20 thousand dollars are eligible to apply for funding.
Funding for the program will come from the Northern Development Initiative Trust.
