LNG Canada will have a new man at the top as of July 1st.
Peter Zebedee will be taking over for current CEO Andy Calitz in the planned transition, announced by the joint venture group today.
Zebedee, who is currently VP of Manufacturing and GM Scotford at Shell, is a graduate of UBC with 22 years industry experience.
He is currently responsible for all of Shell’s downstream manufacturing in Canada.
LNG Canada says it is not unusual for a project to transition CEOs following a successful final investment decision.
Calitz will be returning to an undisclosed role at Shell.
