A number of community input sessions are being hosted by the BC Utilities Commission as they seek insight in to how to improve the regulation of Indigenous utilities.
As part of their inquiry in to the topic, the Commission is looking to: identify the characteristics which define an Indigenous utility, and how those utilities should be regulated.
Of the ten sessions, four will be held in the north this month.
Williams Lake will be hosting a session on June 7th, Prince Rupert on the 10th, Fort St John on the 25th, and Prince George on the 27th.
All of those sessions will run for 5 hours from 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.
