A map which will guide the City of Terrace for the next 4 years is now in place after receiving Council approval last night.
During their regular meeting, Council voted to receive their 2018-2022 Strategic Plan.
On top of providing its mission statement, vision statement, and values, the plan defines the City’s priorities and goals over the course of this Council term.
Over the course of a two day workshop, city staff identified six priority areas for the next 4 years.
Those include: increasing city revenue, responsible asset management, value the City’s natural assets and lifestyle, enhancing civic pride, advocating for social and environmental issues, and managing the impacts of growth.
General goals and responsibilities for each priority are also defined in the plan, which you will soon be able to view on the City’s website.
