CN rail says there was derailment west of Terrace Thursday night.
The company says crews responded to a minor derailment at about 7:30 involving three loaded wood pellet cars and one locomotive which derailed in various positions.
CN says of the pellet cars spilled some of its load, but there were no dangerous goods involved, no fire, and no danger to the environment.
It says crews are cleaning up the area and the CN mainline has since reopened.
