The B.C transportation ministry says the only route in and out of Telegraph Creek will remain closed until further notice.
A rock slide came down across Highway 51 Tuesday morning east of the community near Tahltan River Crossing.
Officials say a geotechnical assessment is underway and crews will begin cleaing up the slide site once the area is deemed safe for workers.
The ministry says the road will remain closed for the night.
