Back in 2018 CFNR’s morning man Steve Little was the recipient of the Terrace and District Chamber of Commerce’s volunteer of the year award, now he has taken his accomplishments to the provincial level.
Steve has been named as one of this years recipients of the B.C. Achievement Community Award, marking the 17th year for the award.
Steve was singled out because of the amount of time and talent he provides to fund raisers with groups like the Salvation Army, Kidney Foundation, the Terrace and District Community Services Society and Terrace Fire Department among many others. His leadership has inspired other community members to give back and make their communities better.
Premier John Horgan, who will present the award, says more than ever communities are made stronger by those who go above and beyond. While the chair of the Achievement Foundation Anne Giardini added it is an honour to bestow the award and thanked all of the winners.
In all 25 recipients will receive the award this coming fall at a ceremony in Victoria.
Proud to be his Mom.
