The closing of fitness and recreational facilities has helped with flattening the curve. Now cities and regions are tasked with putting a plan into place on how to open them back up.
In the City of Terrace officials are looking to open back up these facilities with direction from the B.C. Recreation and Parks Association. Tennis and pickleball courts have been opened with temporary Rules of Play. Courts will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, they will be regularly monitored by Terrace Parks Staff and washrooms will not be open at these sites.
A reminder goes out to everyone to follow the guidelines set out by our Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, maintain a safe physical distance, if you’re sick don’t go anywhere and make sure to wash your hands regularly.
Do people just show up to play or is there a designated time to play?
