Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) announced Friday it’s investing over $20,000 towards renovations at the Trinity Men’s Recovery House in Prince Rupert.
Through its Community Investment Fund, PRPA partnered with the 333 Recovery Homes Society and other community partners to invest a total of $42,712 into upgrading the Recovery House. These investments allow improved support for the intake of new clients and their personal recovery plans. New additions include an enhanced reception office, personal lockers, new outdoor storage, and other services that improve operations.
The Trinity House is the only one currently operating in Prince Rupert, it offers local live-in service for men recovering from addictions.
Graham Edwards, Program Coordinator at the 333 Trinity Recovery House says, “Our focus is to get someone new settled and into recovery as quickly as possible. There is a lot of paperwork required, and our new office gives our staff and clients the privacy they need to complete an intake.”
