Ama Sah! I would like to introduce myself as the New Host for The Afternoon Drive with The Chad. My name is Chad Wells and my traditional name is Gigy ax gm nelx (Floating Killer Whale) from the house of Tax ‘ayee. My Mom is from Kitselas/Gitselasu and My Dad is from Lax kw’alaams (Port Simpson). Growing up in Gitaus/Gitselasu going to public school and being a child of residential school survivors my parents did their best with keeping my culture an important part of my life. Now my children have the privilege of attending ‘Na Aksa Gyilak’yoo school where they proudly learn Sm’algyax and our culture everyday.
