The City of Terrace is making face masks mandatory within City-operated facilities, effective Nov. 1.
Wearing a face mask is an added layer of protection that people can take and help keep everyone safe. This means that with some exceptions everyone will be wearing a mask inside public facilities including, patrons participating in programs or services offered in the facility and individuals conducting business or providing a service while in the building.
A mask must cover the nose, mouth and chin. A mask is not an alternative to other Covid-19 guidelines but is another added layer of protection alongside, hand washing, physical distancing and staying home when you’re unwell.
Further information can be found on the City of Terrace’s Website.
