The City of Terrace has postponed a public hearing on a proposed inland port project.
The decision comes after the province extended COVID-19 measures that restrict gatherings.
The four-hour hearing was originally set for December 17th, followed by a special council meeting the following day to consider the proposal.
The 12-million dollar train cargo facility would be located at the site of the former Skeena Cellulose sawmill site.
The City has extended the Virtual Open House until the end of December, with nearly 200 responses so far. You can send your questions in on the City of Terrace’s website. Along with all the information on the proposed port and the survey.
