Mounties investigating suspicious death in Prince Rupert

Prince Rupert RCMP are continuing to investigate a suspicious death.

The B.C. Ambulance Service called police to a home in the 1400 block of 7th Avenue East just after 2:30 Christmas Eve day.

Investigators say a 28-year-old man died at the scene, but have released no other details.

RCMP say there is no threat to the public, but police are asking anyone that might have seen something suspicious in the area to contact them.
