At 7:45 a.m. Prince Rupert Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a boat fire located at the Fairview marina in Prince Rupert.
Crews arrived and found a large fire coming from a commercial crab vessel. Firefighters set up portal fire pumps and made an aggressive attack to quickly contain the fire to the cabin area of the boat.
No other boats were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
