We’re speaking with Anishinaabe/Cree director Kevin Settee on tonight’s show, all about his newly released short-documentary series called “The Lake Winnipeg Project”.
The 4 part series made its debut yesterday, on National Indigenous People’s Day, launching on the National Film Board of Canada website.
Each episode visits a different community around the lake, where Kevin spent a lot of time as a child. In our interview, he’ll share how he first got his start in filmmaking, how he took over on this project, and other documentary ideas he’s got in the works.
